UTILITY Alliance are delighted to announce that the company has now gone global.
Just over three years after Utility Alliance was created, today the business opened the doors of a fourth office in South Africa.
Based in Umhlanga, a town north of Durban, this office follows the opening of premises in Newcastle and Sheffield, as well as the HQ based on Hartlepool Marina.
Two weeks ago, a group of staff from Utility Alliance made the 6,000-mile trip to begin training the newest members of the company in South Africa.
Darren Sutherland, Utility Alliance’s CEO, is in South Africa to oversee today’s launch.
He said: “International expansion was always a plan for Utility Alliance and after extensive research South Africa was the country that offered everything we were looking for.
“Durban is up and coming and the people are dynamic, enthusiastic for both life and work, driven and forward thinking which is exactly what UA strive for. We look forward to making history in South Africa.”
Sarah Fenwick, Project Manager at Utility Alliance, added: “I arrived in South Africa with Josh, Gary and Kerry from Utility Alliance excited to get started working on this new venture for UA.
“The attitude and determination of the new recruits is amazing! They have a hunger to learn and their knowledge retention is superb.
“The UA project team have worked flat out to get everything in place and ready for go live. It’s been great to have Darren here with us this week to see how things have developed in such a short space of time.”
