Partners Driving Their Fleet To Help The Homeless In Freezing Conditions

5 March, 2018

PARTNER Channel members Quorum Fleet Solutions are asking businesses to donate sleeping bags to help the homeless throughout the winter.

The Beast from the East and Storm Emma have battered the country with temperatures regularly below freezing. As everyone was urged to stay indoors, those who had no choice other than to try to survive the weather were at the fore front of Quorum’s minds.

Quorum Fleet Solutions help companies manage their fleet of vehicles, making sure they are compliant and saving as much money as possible. From fuel card management to getting the best deal on replacement vehicles, they provide businesses with driving license checks and vehicle trackers, in a one-stop shop service.

This gesture was sparked from the company’s Managing Director, Mark Batey, who was saddened by the amount of homeless people he saw out in the treacherous conditions.

Following an incredible response from a post on social media, they have clubbed together with local businesses around the North East to provide sleeping bags and warm clothing to those sleeping on the streets.

Jane Hammond, National Partnership Channel Manager, said: “When we heard about the selfless act that Quorum where doing we didn’t think twice about wanting to help. Staff at Utility Alliance have brought sleeping bags into work, and we have had an excellent response on social media.

“We have a great relationship with Mark and his team at Quorum and it is great to get involved in such a good cause.”

If you would like to donate any warm clothing or sleeping equipment please contact Quorum Fleet Solutions via their website or email
