You don’t have to have an energy industry background, just the willingness to learn and the hunger to succeed.
As a lead generator you will contact and qualify potential business clients, you will be responsible for identifying the correct decision maker in order to discuss their energy and water requirements.
As this is an outbound telephone based role so you will need to be comfortable interacting with clients over the phone and leading the conversation. Your aim is to secure commitment from the customer and obtain relevant documentation in order to pass the lead to the specialist pricing team who will present the customer with options for their business and close the sale.
There is an opportunity as you develop your knowledge and skills to up skill into the full Energy Consultant/Account Manager role where you will have full responsibility for the customer relationship and the sales cycle.
